Introduction
I'll tell you why it's important to correctly formulate your request when contacting specialists who work with the subconscious, in particular Healers.
The Subconscious is an Untilled Field
Each person's subconscious stores a large number of stories, and the work there is truly an untilled field that you couldn't work through in an entire lifetime. Therefore, it's important to learn, first, to clearly set priorities, and second, to try to work on identifying causes, not just removing symptoms.
Example from Practice
Here's an example. A girl who found out about her boyfriend's betrayal. In the moment, she got a lot of stress, a lot of emotions, psychosomatics. And she contacted a specialist to work through this heartache and free herself.
Working on such a request, when fresh, takes me about 20-25 minutes. We work through all the emotions that arose, see what associations this situation caused, and work through the remaining stories based on them. The person leaves in half an hour with a positive mood and doesn't even remember this case anymore.
Symptom vs Cause
But here's what's important to understand: we removed the effect, but the cause — why she met such a boyfriend and why she needed this experience — we didn't even look at, because that actually goes beyond the request they came with.
In her case, the correct request would have been: "This happened to me, I want to let it go as quickly as possible and understand the causes so this doesn't happen again in my life."
Naturally, with such a request, the solution won't come in 30 minutes, this isn't a one-session matter, but here we're not only removing the effect — we're also getting into the causes.
Why Not Start with Causes Right Away?
Many specialists talk about this immediately, that you got an effect — you let go of the situation, but it would be worth working on so this doesn't repeat in the future.
And here a natural question arises: why not start right away with figuring out the causes?
The answer is simple: this could drag on for more than one session, and the person is suffering from this situation right now, and they want, first and foremost, to get rid of this pain. If we immediately start working on causes, it's likely we might touch on some deep patterns, and we won't have time to work through them in one session, and the person will leave after the session with even more stress, decide we only made it worse — and won't come back.
How to Correctly Formulate a Request
To get maximum benefit from working with a specialist, it's important:
- Clearly define priorities: what's more important for you — quick relief or a long-term solution
- Formulate a complete request: include both the symptom and the desire to understand the causes
- Be ready for long-term work: deep changes require time
- Openly discuss with the specialist: what approach will be optimal in your situation
Conclusion
A correctly formulated request is half the success in working with the subconscious. Don't hesitate to talk about what really bothers you and discuss a work plan with the specialist. This will help you get exactly the result you need.
